NBC TV September 8, 1966 -Leonard Nimoy stars as a most unusual alien science officer, Mr. Spock in the new NBC TV series "Star Trek." Star Trek airs Sunday nights on your local NBC station. Nimoy's Spock character took on a life of its own: He found that he became prone to "eruptions of emotion" and at times he broke down and wept.
